By reaching 48 thousand flight points in the period of one year, you get the Red card, with the following benefits:
- You accrue 50% more points than with the White Card in all flights (bonus points).
- Greater luggage allowance in TAM flights - 20 kg (44lbs) additional allowance or 2 extra volumes (up to 32 kg, with 158 cm, maximum, adding height, length and width), according to airport regulations. This benefit does not apply to codeshare TAM flights, in which the aircraft belongs to other companies.
- Express check-in – exclusive counter to ensure your check-in is smooth and quick.
- Express boarding – preferential boarding, right after the boarding of preferential passengers as required by Brazilian authorities.
- Domestic VIP lounges* – Access to our domestic VIP lounges with a friend. Just show your Red TAM Fidelidade card and the valid air travel ticket.
Priority Reservations Waitlisting1 - when there aren't any seats left on your preferred flight, gives you priority should a seat become available.
Priority Airport Standby - gives you top priority when standing-by a flight at the airport.1
Priority Airport Check-in - allows you to check-in at the Business and/or First Class counter

How to stay in this category:
Your card's category is renewed yearly, always in March. That is when your points are updated for the previous year, January to December.
In order to stay in the Red category, you need to have at least 48 thousand flight points in the period. If that's the case, your Red card will be renewed for another year. If your flight points do not reach 48 thousand, you will go back to the Blue category.
